Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Location: Bowmanville

Number of positions: 1-3

Work Hours: Flexible and dependent on clientele pool

Pay: TBD (competitive and negotiable)

* Commission (60/40% split)

Education / certificates Required: Any relevant courses and/or certificates

Number of Years of Previous Experience Required: All experience is an asset

Start Date: ASAP

Main Responsibilities:

·        Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in an out-patient setting accordance with clinic protocols and accepted certification practices

·        Make clients feel welcome and comfortable and promote the benefits of massage therapy as specific to each client and recommend frequency

·        Be on time for each massage appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service

·        Maintain the treatment rooms in a neat professional manner including stocking products and linens, cleaning and instrument sterilization Work to build a massage therapy client base, and assist in developing and implementing marketing

·        Completes required client notes, maintains accurate documentation and filing of client files after each visit

·        Maintain a positive attitude, be flexible, and contribute toward a quality work environment

·        Assists in activities including staff meetings, promotions; clean-up and housekeeping

Job Requirements:

·        Must have a strong work ethic; be able to ‘hustle’ when not busy servicing clientele to build body of clientele – engaging, outgoing personality

·        Must be a registered Massage Therapist in good standing Team player and flexible; MS Office skills a plus

·        Excellent customer service, time management and interpersonal skills; must want to cater thoughtfully to customized needs of new and repeat customers; be flexible and receive flexibility in return
