Cleaner
Location: Bowmanville
Number of positions: 3 (1 per shift)
Work Hours:
Day Porter/Matron – Monday to Friday
Still open to see if 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm.
Public transportation will be a factor here (Car required)
7.5 hours per day – 37.5 weekly ½ hour lunch deducted
Benefits after probation (90 days)
Rate: 16.16 per hour
Overnight Cleaner – Sunday – Thursday 10pm to 6 am
7.5 hours per day – 37.5 weekly – ½ hour lunch deducted
Benefits after probation (90 days)-
Rate: 18.00 per hour
Pay: $16.16 – $18.00 (depending on shift)
Benefits (Yes/No?): Yes – option to take a slight pay cut
Number of Years of Previous Experience Required: Previous cleaning experience is an asset
Start Date: ASAP
Main Responsibilities:
· Follow cleaning routine overnight – cleaning floors and washrooms, offices, lunch rooms, pick up garbage in large facility
· Communicate with team members and staff working at the facility
· Candidate will be expected to adhere to health and safety procedures, operating cleaning equipment safely, and maintaining quality control.
Job Requirements:
· Physically agile
· Ability to stand for long periods of time
· Will be asked to provide a Criminal Background Check
