Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Start Date: Immediately

Main Responsibilities:

·        Operate manual TIG welding equipment & setup Tack and Fit assemblies independently

·         Custom fabrication, Machinery or equipment repair, Stainless Steel welding Gas Welding Machine

·        Types of Materials: Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, & Aluminum alloys in light gauges < 1/8” thick

Job Requirements:

·        Safety-first mindset

·        Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, examine welds and ensure that the meet standards and/or specifications

·        Able to work independently and as a team

·        Able to stand for long periods of time

·        Strong English Communication/Comprehension skills

·        Basic math skills (measuring)

·        Experience working with hand/power tools is an asset

·        Knowledge of Press Machines is an asset

Number of Years of Previous Experience Required: – 5yrs – Specializing in Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) arc welding (GTAW) (TIG) (preferred)

– Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW): 5 years (preferred)
