G Driver
Location: Various – throughout the GTA
Number of positions: 2
Work Hours: Around 6am until deliveries are finished (average 8 hours per day)
Pay: $15
Benefits (Yes/No?): Yes
Own Transportation Required: No-Just need to get to office in Ajax on time
Start Date: Immediately
Education / Certificates Required: High School – G License
Main Responsibilities:
· Local pickup and delivery; generally in the GTA
· Able to lift 50 lbs.
· Manual loading and unloading
· Safe handling of cartons, skids and other miscellaneous materials
· Knowledge of pump truck usage and tailgate
· Geographical knowledge to plan logistics of getting to clients’ locations
· Non-reliance on the GPS System = strong understanding of the city/region
Job Requirements:
· G Driver to start – full G license
· Over 23 years old (for insurance purposes)
· Read, write and speak English
· Clean Drivers Abstract (please bring to interview)
Number of Years of Previous Experience Required: None (but experience is an asset)
