Main Responsibilities:
- Taking and processing of food orders via phone
- Virtual forums and in-person visits; relaying order details to cook and kitchen staff
- Cleaning work area; sanitization and hygiene — mops floors at end of each shift
- Use of wide variety of kitchen and food prep. tools
- Serving of menu items with friendly demeanour and knowledge of food/offerings; ensuring orders follow dietary restrictions or allergy alerts
Job Requirements:
- Basic numeracy and literacy; use of payments system (point-of-sale – PoS that interfaces with smart phones and tablets
- Basic stocking of supplies and refrigerator items; standard inventory, ordering, rotating, reporting need for replenishment
- Strong customer service skills; committed to creating positive and memorable customer experience and informing customers on food offerings
