Where is the best place to invest in real estate in Ontario?

While the future of the housing market is always unsure, trends continue to point to increasing demand in many cities across southern Ontario.

The Greater Toronto Area (including Durham Region) was fourth on the list. With a population of 6,417,516, the average sale price of a home is $787,300.

The Town of Ajax also made the list. Ajax has a faster growing population and welcomed more immigrants as residents than any other municipality in the region.

Due to the close proximity to Toronto, it’s natural that the demand for housing is spilling out and across the Greater Toronto Area.

Year after year, the GTA sees almost 80% of Canada’s population growth.
