Recognized through TD Bank and the Hispanic Business Alliance as one of the “10 Most Influential Hispanic Canadians”, Isaac Garcia-Sitton holds Canadian values close to his heart.
Isaac is the Director of International Education & English Language Institute (YUELI) at York University’s School of Continuing Studies in Toronto. Part of his philosophy as a leader in higher education is to help newcomers gain a foothold in the Canadian labour market.
Garcia-Sitton’s credits his first boss in Canada for recognizing his abilities and giving him room to grow personally and professionally.
Canada and its people embodied what Isaac was looking for in a home – the Canadian values of acceptance, inclusivity and multiculturalism are what drove Isaac to apply for permanent residency.
