Ontario is gradually announcing workplaces that can reopen including seasonal, retail, household businesses and health related industries like dental and optometry.

As of June 12, restaurants and malls can reopen in parts of Ontario (excluding Toronto-area).

Businesses are required to comply with public health regulations and physical distancing. Click to access resources provided by the government of Ontario to prevent COVID-19 in the workplace.

Visit Reopening Ontario for more resources and up-to-date information.

As businesses prepare to reopen there will be an increased need for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The Durham Economic Task Force has been building a directory of local-area manufacturers who sell or produce these supplies. Click here.
