Job Search Workshop (JSW) is designed to meet the needs of Immigrant Professionals. JSW offers expert advice on effective job search skills and strategies. Participants also benefit from connecting with other newcomers all with many questions and who have faced similar challenges while looking for work in a new country.
Online JSW sessions have created valuable connections and helped to relieve the isolation (amplified by COVID restrictions) that is often experienced by job seekers.
For those in licenced professions; participants benefit from shared experience of months – years – of studying and exams.
JSW helps newcomers to strategically and successfully learn how to effectively market their readiness and eagerness through networking, strong targeted resumes and cover letters, and confidence for the interview process. JSW brings focus to achieving goals.
