King Street Community Church created possibility by taking advantage of the Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG) – a government funded program offering employers 2/3 of the cost to train employees, up to $15K/person.

Gary Campbell, Pastor of Adult Ministries and Finance Director, writes:

Our organizations desire is to see our communities flourish! The COJG program has helped us work toward this by partnering with us to make training accessible. As we can all understand, currently many in our communities are in distress socioeconomically, mentally and emotionally. Through the COGJ program, our team has been able to improve their skills in dealing with mental health challenges and become better equipped to address the diverse humanitarian needs in Durham Region and the GTA. Simply put, the COJG program has helped us strengthen our service to our community and for that we are sincerely thankful.
