Career Fair: Register to become an Exhibitor

Are you an employer looking to hire? Register for free to participate as an exhibitor in the ‘Advancing Innovation, Diversity and Equity in Employment’ career fair. It is hosted by DRUHC – Durham Region Unemployed Help Centre through its ‘Confronting Racism in Durham’ project funded by Canadian Heritage.

Hosted in partnership with The Region of Durham, Durham Workforce Authority, Municipality of Clarington, Community Development Council Durham, The Ajax Library, and potentially, Town of Ajax.

Objective
• Promote hiring of diverse talent with key focus on racialized minorities, indigenous peoples, and other equity seeking groups within Durham.
• Provide an opportunity for the jobseekers to network with employers and interview for open job roles.
• Promote the benefits of an inclusive workplace with a keynote presentation on the theme.
• Launch the confronting racism project’s resources (employer handbook, jobseeker/employee handbook & other resources).
