Main Responsibilities:
– A Dairy/Frozen clerk properly maintains stocks at his/her assigned area, assists customers and maintains proper presentation, while maintaining excellent customer service.
– Rotating stock and checking for expired products.
– Ensuring the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
– Adhering to standards and policies for cold compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
– Adhering to food safety and handling procedures and following sanitation and cleaning procedures. * Following proper procedures for; markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
– Maintaining features. * Keeping the area clean and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
Job Requirements:
– No prior retail experience required. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
– Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
– In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
– Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
– Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
