General Labourer
Location: Oshawa
Number of positions: 1-2
Work Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Thursday, 8am – 5pm -Friday 8 am – 4 pm
Pay: $17-$20 (depending on skills & experience)
Benefits (Yes/No?): Benefits are an option but mostly paid by the employee if they choose to have them. There’s a group plan that won’t deny anyone but the company can no longer pay for the entirety of the benefits due to cost increases, Covid, etc.. This can be discussed at time of hire.
Start Date: Immediately
Main Responsibilities:
· General and light labour duties that support the professional installation of racking systems / ladder racks /safety partitions modification and building of custom racking / interior compartments / ladder racks
· Organizing product that is required in the installation or wiring harnesses or trailering equipment, installation of LED lighting removal and installation or vehicle interiors
· Must have ability to think “out of the box” during custom projects
· Preparing vehicles and learning to apply LINE-X
· Reporting health and safety issues and troubleshooting supply order
· Maintaining basic info. and accurate records
· Keeping shop and work areas clean and orderly
Job Requirements:
· G license with clean abstract is asset
· Uncompromised attention to detail
· Mature and responsible personality
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
