Main Responsibilities:
Fully install and proficiently run, test, evaluate
data on a wide variety of analytical laboratory
equipment / instruments.
Trouble shoot, repair / refurbish the previously
mentioned equipment.
Sourcing and ordering required repair parts and
supplies needed from suppliers.
Provide technical support to customers via email
or phone communication. (i.e. Zoom, Google
Meeting, WhatsApp Video).
Facilitate and perform customer service calls
within the GTA.
Maintain detailed documentation logs of all work
and repairs.
Job Requirements:
Complete knowledge and understanding of Agilent HPLC Systems, Gas Chromatograph, Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy and their associated software packages.
Knowledge of ICP/MS and ICP/OES is a definite asset.
Knowledge of ideal suppliers for ordering parts and supplies.
Confident ability to assist with troubleshooting virtually via various platforms.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
Clean Drivers abstract and valid G license
Knowledge of navigating roads/ highways within the GTA
Must have exceptional computer and organizational skills
Must be able to work efficiently independently and with others in a team environment.
Education Required: Post-Secondary or higher
Certificates Required: electrical certificate / lab tech certificate (ideal)
Number of Years of Previous Experience Required: 3 – 5 years
