Main Responsibilities:
Lead young children’s activities, tell stories, teach
songs and prepare craft materials;
Help prepare and/or serve nutritious snacks and
meals, as per resident cook and Canada Food
Guide
Help children eat, dress and use the toilet and/or
execute hygiene habits
Job Requirements: Any courses or relevant diplomas in Early Childhood Education
Passion for ongoing professional development and growth;
Strong planning, compassion, organizational, leadership, life, nutrition, health-and-safety, and communication skills;
Assets;
Autism-related courses and/or certification
Good time management and organization skills;
First Aid Certificate; CPR (C-level);
Training in the use of Environmental Assessment Tools (EATs)
Education Required: ECE Preferred (will review all education at interview)
Certificates Required: ECE Preferred (will review all education at interview)
Number of Years of Previous Experience Required: Not required but an asset
Medical Testing/Disclosure/Vaccinations Required: 2-Step TB Test
