Shipper and Receiver

We are currently looking to hire a Full-Time Shipping/Receiving Associate to join our team! We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a great team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

– Ensure that all staff are adhering to ISO process and instructions
– Schedule distribution of goods
– Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents
– Use Purolator, Fedex and UPS shipping system
– Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
– Ability to learn other shipping systems including our own
– Pick and Pack goods to be shipped / Unpack goods received
– Control movement and location of inventory
– Ability to perform other duties when required outside of the department

Qualifications

– Very detail oriented
– Intermediate computer knowledge to do data entry
– Familiar with Purolator / Fedex / UPS shipping systems
– Ability to perform intermediate computer functions (ie. Data entry)
– Ability to follow instructions
– Ability to work unsupervised at times
– Forklift Certificate is a bonus but not required

Physical & Working conditions
– Ability to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50 lbs
– Able to sit / stand for up to 8hrs
