To help thousands of laid-off hospitality workers and apprentices retrain and rejoin the workforce, Ontario has launched its first Virtual Action Centre.
The Ontario government is also helping apprentices by providing grants to purchase tools, protective equipment and clothing for their trade, along with forgiving previous loans to purchase tools. Click to read the Ontario press release.
