Youth Job Connection (YJC), a program for youth aged 15 to 29, helps young people who want to work.
Youth will:
Get paid while gaining work experience and learn new skills
Participate in 3-weeks of paid training
Learn employment techniques that work
Gain a 2-week paid employment opportunity
Work with a group of peers that are facing similar challenges in a safe, inclusive environment
Benefit from mentorship, education and work transition support.
Connect to an on-going source of guidance throughout the year.
Within 4-weeks of starting the program, youth participants are guaranteed an Interview for paid employment! Benefit from support, education, skills and employment.
